Welcome

Peninsula College presents a podcast honoring the work of the influential American poet and short story writer, Raymond Carver from the last town he called home: Port Angeles, Washington.

You can listen here on our Episode page. You can also find us on Google Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or almost any platform you use to stream podcasts.

In each regular episode, a special guest chooses a favorite story or poem by Carver and we embark on an in-depth discussion of the piece. This discussion is followed by an interview focusing on the life and work of our guest. In addition to our interview centered episodes, we are planning a number of travel and bonus episodes where we visit Carver locations and events. We look forward to sharing rare, archival material, news from Carver Country, and more.

Please subscribe to the podcast on your favorite listening platform to ensure you do not miss new episodes as they are released. We have lined up some amazing interview guests, stories, and digital tours for you.

Boyle, Tess Gallagher, Selected Shorts, and all the writers and performers who were in attendance. We do not have solid future plans right now, but we are not ruling out bringing another festival to Port Angeles.
